Indy Football Podcast - World Cup daily: Argentina's brilliant comeback, Lionel Messi's sublime goal and more
The guys have just witnessed a night of epic action, so they're straight on the mic to break it down
Have you ever seen anything quite like that? Well, you probably have but it was still an absolutely incredible night at World Cup 2018 as Argentina football overcame Nigeria (and themselves, if we're honest) to win a sensational game at the death.
Lionel Messi scored one of the goals of the tournament , so deft, so sublime, but then it all looked like it was going to go south when Nigeria equalised from the spot and then VAR threatened to get involved .
But they would prevail with a brilliant late strike and who else would it be but, erm, Marcos Rojo?
Ed Malyon and Miguel Delaney discuss the game in Moscow before checking in with Jonathan Liew and Jack Pitt-Brooke who were at the match in St Petersburg.
Oh, and Diego Maradona might have been there.
