Gemma Burden, the 17-year-old Briton, became the youngest World Cup champion in the event's 31-year history when she won the women's final in Sao Paulo, Brazil, last night. Top-seeded, Burden achieved a hat-trick of strikes in the final frame to snatch the title after she had appeared destined for defeat against the American, Kendra Cameron.
