England's Nick Matthew emulated Peter Nicol of Scotland by taking two Commonwealth squash titles at a single Games by winning the men's doubles with Adrian Grant yesterday.

Matthew, the singles champion, and Grant won 11-9, 6-11, 11-5 over Australia's Stewart Boswell and David Palmer at the Siri Fort Sport Complex for the world No 2 to match Nicol's achievement of four years ago in Melbourne.

The Scotland duo Alan Clyne and Harry Leitch finished fourth after losing 11-5, 11-7 to Australia's Ryan Cuskelly and Cameron Pilley in the contest for bronze.
