World champion Christine Ohuruogu to run on Tyneside in Great North City Games
The 400 metres world champion Christine Ohuruogu is to compete at this month’s Great North City Games. Fresh from winning gold in Moscow last month, the 29-year-old is to race over 150m in Newcastle/Gateshead on 14 September.
The Great North City Games serves as a prelude to the Great North Run, which will this year feature the double Olympic and world champion Mo Farah.
