Anthony Joshua appears to have committed his future to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing ahead of his title unification fight with Joseph Parker.

Joshua turned professional in 2013 after winning super-heavyweight gold for Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics, signing a four-year deal with Hearn’s Matchroom properties.

He has since extended that initial agreement, becoming the WBA (Super), IBF and IBO heavyweight world champion under Hearn’s tutelage. He will have a chance to add the WBO title to his collection when he fights Parker on March 31.

And ahead of that unification fight, Joshua suggested he will re-sign with Matchroom when his current deal expires.

“The Hearns are focused and they have established from the ground up, they have bloted in and out and now they are on their way to the top,” Joshua told iFL TV.

“Business is purely based on survival and there are no friends in this s***. So if you cannot beat them, join them.”
