Bobby Crutchley, the former England international, now player-coach of Bath Buccaneers, scored four times as his club overcame a two-goal half-time deficit to draw 5-5 with East Grinstead in the Men's National League.
Bath, in their first year in the national league, are now fourth, 11 points behind leaders Bowdon, who are also in their first season and beat Nottingham 7-4. There were plenty of goals in the Premier Division but no change at the top as the leaders Reading beat third-placed Surbiton 4-3.
The day's highest scorers were second-placed Cannock with a 9-1 win against St Albans. Fourth-placed Loughborough Students closed the gap on the leaders with a 2-1 victory over Teddington. Old Loughtonians lead the First Division by three points from Beeston after extending their unbeaten record with a 5-3 win against Stourport.
