As England's new chief coaches announce squads for next month's tours to South Africa there appears to be another fight brewing between several leading clubs and English Hockey.

England men's Champions Challenge tournament at the beginning of March clashes with three of the last four National League dates. The national body has ruled that postponements will only be permitted where both teams agree.

With the National League being reorganised for 2005/6 just about every club in the current Premier League could be affected during the period.
