The GMB Nottingham Panthers are one game away from qualifying for the semi-finals of the Elite League Challenge Cup. A win at home to London tomorrow will guarantee a place in the last four.
The Panthers' coach, Paul Adey, said: "We lost at home to Cardiff on Saturday and, despite suffering injuries and illness, we could have, and should have won. Now we have a chance to grab the points against London." Adey was quick to praise Paul Moran, 20, and Marc Levers, 21, who combined to set up the opening goal in a 4-6 defeat.
"Young Levers got his chance to stake a claim for icetime and he grabbed it. Meanwhile Paul has been turning in performances like that for us all season," said Adey, who is hoping that that his foreign stars John Craighead and Kristian Taubert will be back in the line-up tomorrow or at the weekend.
