Peyton Manning last night broke Tom Brady’s NFL record for most touchdown passes in a season with 51.
The Denver Broncos quarter-back supplied Julius Thomas with just over four minutes remaining of the game against the Houston Texans. He started the day with 47 scoring passes and helped the Broncos to a 37-13 win by throwing four more.
Brady set the record, which previously belonged to Manning, in 2007. Manning had thrown 49 touchdown passes in 2004.
