BMX: Injured Reade skips world title defence
Britain's Shanaze Reade will not defend her BMX World Championships title this weekend in Copenhagen after aggravating a wrist injury. The 22-year-old recently had surgery and now hopes to return for the BMX 2012 test event in Stratford on 19 and 20 August. "That's the priority for my Olympic ambitions and I don't to jeopardise being ready for that," she said.
