Amir Khan, the former WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion, will return to basics under new trainer Virgil Hunter ahead of his first fight since splitting from Freddie Roach.

Khan, who will meet Carlos Molina in Los Angeles on 15 December, said: "I've got room for improvement and it is maybe going back to basics and looking at where I make mistakes."
