Tony Bellew admitted he was outclassed by Canadian Adonis Stevenson as his WBC light-heavyweight title fight ended in a sixth-round knockout.

It was the Liverpool fighter’s second professional defeat after losing to Nathan Cleverly in 2011. Bellew tweeted: “The fans who travelled, I’ll be forever in your debt. I’m truly shocked. Like I said the better man won, no excuses. Thanks again for the support.”
