Kell Brook is convinced an emphatic victory over Vyacheslav Senchenko in Sheffield on Saturday night will confirm his status as one of the biggest names in the welterweight division.
A world title shot has been long in coming for Brook, who had three prospective bouts against IBF champion Devon Alexander postponed earlier this year, but has now been installed as mandatory challenger.
Brook said: "I need to make a statement – it's going to be an epic night. We didn't need this fight. I'm number one for the IBF title but (promoter) Eddie Hearn put the fight in front of me and I wanted to take it."
