Boxing: Residents fail to halt fighting at Albert Hall
Wrestling and boxing are back on the programme at the Royal Albert Hall. The Court of Appeal has overturned an order, won by nearby residents in west London, quashing a new licence permitting the sports.
The neighbours won their initial court action to stop the licence, claiming such events would attract "antisocial elements".
The hall previously hosted fights involving boxers such as Frank Bruno. Objectors say boxing events in the past have led to "very serious disturbances".
