Ross Edgar will take to the road in 2013 after 12 years as a member of the Great Britain track team.He has signed for IG Sigma Sport.
The 29-year-old won Olympic silver behind fellow Scot Sir Chris Hoy in the keirin at Beijing in 2008, but missed out on selection for London 2012.
He said: "My goals are the Tour Series in the summer followed by the Tour of Britain. I look forward to the new challenge, more opportunities to get a race number on my back and also making a right-hand turn at race speeds."
