The former race winner Luis Leon Sanchez outsprinted Jens Voigt to win yesterday's sixth stage of the Paris-Nice cycling race. Britain's Bradley Wiggins retained the overall lead.
Wiggins said: "I still have the yellow jersey on my back but it is never over. There are two stages left, I could crash and end up at the hospital. I know that, it happened to me during the last Tour de France."
One of Wiggins's Sky team-mates, Edvald Boasson Hagen of Norway, won the third stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico race. It was the second consecutive victory in Italy for Sky, after Mark Cavendish took Thursday's stage.
