Darts: Van Barneveld sweeps Parry aside
Raymond van Barneveld sealed his place in the second round of the World Darts Championship as the crowd roared him to a dominant 3-0 win over New Zealand's Warren Parry at Alexandra Palace in London last night.
"Every year I come back and I wonder why they [the crowd] want to cheer for a Dutchman," Van Barneveld said. "They are fantastic." He is hoping for another final showdown with the world No 1 Phil Taylor.
