Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield agreed their best chance of an Olympic medal is in the 10m synchro following their breakthrough success at the FINA World Series event in Sheffield.

"We are very lucky to naturally have that timing straight away," Daley said after he and Waterfield saw off the all-conquering Chinese duo Cao Yuan and Zhang Yanquang.
