The funeral of British IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon will be held today in his adopted hometown St Petersburg, Florida.

The two-time Indianapolis 500 winner was killed in a horrific 15-car crash in Las Vegas last Sunday, aged 33. His widow, Susie, said in a statement: "Though we won't be able to fit everyone inside, I know Dan would have wanted the community to share in the celebration of his life and to grieve his passing."
