Rowing: Glover and Swann lead gold haul
Great Britain claimed four gold medals as the World Rowing Cup concluded at Eton Dorney yesterday. The men's eight triumphed over Poland in the final race to successfully round off a final day which saw the women's pair and the women's double sculls also top the podium along with the lightweight men's pair.
Olympic champion Helen Glover, with new partner Polly Swann, claimed the first home gold in the women's pair, while Frances Houghton and Victoria Meyer-Laker surged to victory in the double sculls.
