Overall champion Lindsey Vonn notched her 12th win of the season and remained on course for the highest score ever in the women's World Cup when she won the downhill at the finals yesterday.

Vonn's victory in 1min 46.56secs meant she broke her personal record for wins in a season and took the American to 1,908 points, 62 behind the best of 1,970 set by Croatia's Janica Kostelic in 2006.
