Mark Williams joked that he had dragged his opponent Matthew Stevens down to his level after he came from behind to win 6-4 and reach the quarter-finals of the Masters at Alexandra Palace.
Stevens led 4-1 but missed a simple brown to make it 5-1, then made a string of basic errors as Williams won five frames in a row to secure an unlikely victory.
"Matthew helped me out a lot, said Williams. "He missed a lot of balls he normally wouldn't miss. Perhaps I dragged him down a bit and pounced on him."
