Snooker: Peter Ebdon edges out Neil Robertson at the International Championship

Peter Ebdon produced a fine display to beat Neil Robertson at the International Championship in Chengdu, China.

The 43-year-old Englishman edged a tight deciding frame to win 6-5 and set up a quarter-final with in-form local hero Ding Junhui.

Ebdon had led 5-3 before the Australian pegged him back to 5-5. But the world No 1 was frustrated by Ebdon's slow play, saying: "It makes it very difficult to get any rhythm going."
