Swimming: Australia chief forced to resign

The Swimming Australia president, Barclay Nettlefold, resigned yesterday over allegations of "inappropriate" behaviour. Nettlefold allegedly made an inappropriate remark to a female team consultant and had faced another allegation of misbehaviour.

"There were some private comments I made in jest to my colleagues recently that were not consistent with the standards expected of me," Nettlefold said.
