Today

Poor Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has spent all week moaning about not having time to visit a spa or get a suit fitted, and his mood won't improve after the Carling Cup final if Manchester United take another step towards the quintuplet (although the World Club Championship doesn't really count).

Tomorrow

The First Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was a boring run-fest, as 600 played 700. Expect more of the same in the Second Test in Lahore.

Tuesday

Midweek top-flight action, and Liverpool have to beat Sunderland to prevent the title race turning into a cakewalk.

Wednesday

Newcastle against Manchester United was one of the must-see fixtures a few years back. Now, however, we just expect another three-point stroll for Sir Alex's boys.

Thursday

Rugby league may have working-class roots but there are still enough bright young things around to warrant a Varsity match between Oxford and Cambridge.

Friday

It's the final Test in Trinidad, with England knowing they need a series win if they are to head into the Ashes with any sort of confidence. Meanwhile England's second team, the Lions, hope to bare their teeth against New Zealand A in the Second Test in Lincoln.

Saturday

Coventry try to upset Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals while Fulham have a chance at home to Man United. Andy Murray goes home to Scotland knowing he'll have to beat Ukraine on his own for Britain to progress in the Davis Cup.
