Threatening forecasts could force a change in plans, though, and in the event of an abandonment at Wetherby Channel 4 will show four races from Lingfield, commencing with the 1.00.

In warmer climes, Frankie Dettori, out of luck with two seconds at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday, again filled the runner-up's slot on his only ride at the Dubai track yesterday.
