Bradford's backline will have an unfamiliar look about it in tonight's Super League meeting with Hull.

With injured Tevita Vaikona out for the season and Lesley Vainikolo on the other side of the world playing for New Zealand, one department in which the Bulls terrorise opponents will be under-staffed. Stuart Reardon will fill one flank, with Andy Smith making his debut on the other. Karl Pryce and Chris Bridge are also in the squad. The Bulls will also be without Robbie Paul, on duty with the Kiwis, with Aaron Smith at hooker.

In tonight's other game, Keith Senior takes over as Leeds captain from the injured Kevin Sinfield against Wakefield, who are deprived of Jamie Rooney and David Wrench by broken legs. Paul Handforth and Jamie Field come in.

The Kiwis will be outsiders against Australia in Newcastle, New South Wales, today but Australia have injury problems, with Petero Civoniceva the latest to drop out. He is replaced by Canterbury's Steven Price.

Halifax have put Anthony Farrell, in temporary charge after sacking their coach, Tony Anderson, earlier this week. Gary Mercer, coaching Castleford on a similar basis, is interested in taking on the job, while Leeds' director of rugby, the Castleford-born Daryl Powell, has also been mentioned.
