Castleford face bottle-throwing investigation
The Rugby League's disciplinary commissioner is investigating a series of charges. They include allegations of bottle-throwing by Castleford supporters and that the Cas player, Richard Fletcher, damaged a dug-out by throwing a bottle. The Tigers coach, Dave Woods, is also charged with criticising the match referee after Rovers' 18-16 win.
Rovers' Byron Ford is charged with making an obscene gesture to the crowd after scoring a try and the club with failing to control its supporters and keep them off the playing surface.
Meanwhile, the Leeds centre, Chev Walker, has been passed fit to play against Toulouse in the Powergen Challenge Cup semi-final at Huddersfield on Sunday. Ryan Bailey is also ready to return after two weeks in quarantine with mumps, but Jamie Jones-Buchanan is ruled out after straining a quad muscle in training.
Toulouse will be at full strength apart from their injured Australian loose forward, Trent Robinson.
The Wakefield half-back, Jamie Rooney, has joined the growing ranks of players ruled out for the rest of the season with serious knee injuries.
