Cooke to decide on role at Doncaster
Former Hull and Hull KR favourite Paul Cooke will today tell Doncaster if he wants to join them in a joint role as player and community development officer.
The club have put forward an offer where they would pay him £600 a month, if fans and sponsors are able to come up with another £600.
Cooke, 30, has been out of the professional game for over a year, after being released by Wakefield.
Chairman John Scarrow said: "Paul is in tremendous shape and his attitude is first-class. I'm sure he will be an asset to the club, both on and off the field."
