Huddersfield's in-form forward Eorl Crabtree has been granted a testimonial and has signed a five-year contract extension.

The 26-year-old prop has committed himself to the club until the end of the 2015 season – and probably until the end of his career.

"As a native of Huddersfield, I've always been proud to represent the Giants," Crabtree said.

His coach, Nathan Brown, said: "Eorl has had a great year. He is making a big impact for the team, not only on the field but off it as well."
