The England Academy coach, Dave Elliott, has called for more of his victorious under-18s to be given a chance in Super League next season.
The English youngsters clinched a 2-0 series win over their Australian counterparts on Friday night and Elliott says that many of them are ready for the big time.
Some, like Hull's Reece Lyne and Adam Milner of Castleford, have already had a taste of Super League, but Elliott would like to see the Wigan scrum-half, Sam Powell, and Warrington's Evans twins – Rhys and Ben – get an extended run.
"My concern is that they won't get enough opportunities," he said. "But a lot of them are ready to have a go and I hope Super League coaches take a risk with them."
