The England coach, Steve McNamara, has named three new caps to face France in Avignon tomorrow, with all his new imports making their debuts.

The Yorkshire-born Brisbane centre Jack Reed starts in the three-quarter line, Chris Heighington is at loose forward, with Rangi Chase partnering Kevin Sinfield at half-back. "They are all here for the right reasons," said forward Adrian Morley.

Huddersfield have signed the former Hull utility man Tommy Lee from Wakefield.
