Nathan Freer, an 18-year-old prop, could make his Hull debut at Castleford tomorrow, after news that Paul King will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot. Hull are targeting Canberra's Michael Dobson as a replacement for Richard Horne. Matt Cook will make his Castleford debut.

Paul Sculthorpe is in St Helens' squad to face Harlequins. Warrington's Steve Pickersgill will miss the rest of the season with knee ligament damage. Michael McIlorum, Paul Prescott and Darrell Goulding have signed until 2011 with Wigan, who have denied making any contact with Australia's Darren Lockyer.

Workington's Dave Roth-eram will assist Scotland coach Steve McCormack at this autumn's World Cup.
