Scott Moore has been cleared to play for Huddersfield in their Challenge Cup final against Warrington after a nerve-wracking overnight wait. The Giants' hooker was sent to the sin bin and placed on report for a late tackle on Bradford's Paul Deacon on Sunday and a suspension of two games or more would have ruled him out of the big occasion at Wembley.

But Rugby League's match review panel has ruled that he has no further case to answer. The view of the panel was that Moore had originally made contact with Deacon's shoulder and that he did not deliberately raise his forearm.

There is some fall-out, however, from Bradford's victory at the Galpharm Stadium, with the Bulls' Semi Tadulala charged with pulling the hair of one of the game's few pony-tailed players, Eorl Crabtree.

Warrington's Lee Briers is hoping that he is a step closer to playing at Wembley after a second examination on a facial injury. Briers missed the second half at Wigan last Friday after taking a blow to the mouth.
