Kris Radlinski, one of the game's most distinguished recent internationals, has been drafted on to England's coaching staff for next month's Test in France.
Radlinski, who retired three years ago and now coaches Wigan's Scholarship side, will fill the gap left by Steve McNamara, who is not making the trip to Paris because of his club commitments with Bradford, but could still be involved in the Four Nations later this year.
"The aim of involving Kris with the squad is for him to have a look at us and us to have a look at him with a view to a potential role in this autumn's Four Nations," said the England coach, Tony Smith.
