St Helens will announce today whether they are to punish their Test stand-off, Leon Pryce, for his assault conviction. Pryce was given a community service order last week when he admitted an attack on the new partner of his former Bradford team-mate, Stuart Reardon's estranged wife. Saints' directors met Pryce last night and will reveal their decision today.

The Catalan Dragons' captain, Greg Bird, has appeared in court in his native Australia, pleading not guilty to wounding his girlfriend with a broken glass.
