WWE's flagship show Monday Night Raw opened this week with the entire roster paying tribute to the victims of the Paris terror attacks with a moment of silence.

At least 129 people were killed in the attack on Friday night.

At the start of the WWE event last night, announcer Lillian Garcia told the crowd there would be moment of silence for the victims.

The WWE roster, including Triple H and Roman Reigns, plus Goldust and Stardust without their trademark face paint, then stood at the top of the stage for the tribute, which included the French flag on their 'Titantron' big screen.

In tonight's international football friendly, when England host France at Wembley Stadium, England fans are encouraged to sing the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, in show of solidarity. It is expected that the England players will sing it too.

During Tuesday's game, Wembley's arch will be lit up in the blue, white and red.

England manager Roy Hodgson said: "I can't deny there's something hanging over which is far, far greater than a football match."
