Ronda Rousey and The Rock beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31
UFC star makes surprise appearance at main event
WWE might already be planting the seeds for next year's WrestleMania, with The Rock returning to the company Sunday night at WrestleMania 31, writes Joseph Zucker for Bleacher Report.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were in the middle of a promo running down the crowd inside Levi's Stadium, which brought out "The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment".
The three proceeded to exchange verbal barbs until McMahon took things up a notch, slapping The Rock square in the face. The Rock opted not to return the favor, instead calling upon the help of UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, who was seated ringside.
McMahon attempted to intimidate the UFC women's bantamweight champion stating: "Get the Hell out of my ring", to which Rousey replied: "Any ring I step into is mine".
The Rock and Rousey deposited Triple H and Stephanie out of the ring, providing a WrestleMania moment that will be remembered for some time, although it seems extremely unlikely that this was anything more than a one-off appearance for Rousey since she's an active UFC fighter.
The Rock and Triple H, however, might not be through. It wouldn't be a surprise to see them cross paths again and set something up for WrestleMania 32.
