The qualifying school for the 1996 American Express Tour will take place at The Hyatt La Manga Club resort in Spain from 28 November to 1 December. The school will be played over 72 holes of stroke play on the resort's North Course.

Woodpecker cider is to sponsor the Welsh Open at St Pierre Country Club near Chepstow from 10-13 August.
