Beth Daniel said yesterday she did not make comments attributed to her in a magazine which angered Europe's Solheim Cup team. The article quoted her as saying only Laura Davies and Lotta Neumann would strengthen the US team. 'I am disappointed that I was misquoted,' the American said. 'I have a great deal of respect for (the Europeans) as individuals and as professional golfers.'
