Golf: Davison aims for first South African win

Chris Davison produced the best round of the day to move up to second place only a stroke behind the leader of the South African Masters at Rustenburg. The Briton had five birdies and one bogey in a four-under-par 68 for an aggregate of 211, one behind the American Bruce Vaughan. On a sweltering day when rounds lasted almost six hours, the greens quickened and became more difficult to hold with approach shots. Very few players broke par.
