Philip Walton shot 69 yesterday for a three-round total of 202 at the Hohe Brucke Austrian Open at Haugschlag to keep a second European Tour victory of his career in his sights. Walton, on 14 under, leads Bristol golfer Andrew Sherborne (66 for 204) by two shots. Walton had five birdies and two bogeys on his card, and believes the par-five opening hole will be the key today. 'I was a bit cautious after I missed a birdie there,' he said last night. 'But if I can birdie it tomorrow it will be just the start I need.'
