Jordan Spieth will head out in the final group in his bid to win consecutive Masters titles after leading the field at the end of all three rounds, with the American taking a slender one-shot advantage into Sunday.

Spieth will play alongside Smylie Kaufman, with his impressive three-under 69 on Saturday standing as the best score on a difficult day and launching him up the leaderboard.

Bernhard Langer and Hideki Matsuyama will play alongside each other, with the hotly anticipated pairing of world No 1 Jason Day and Dustin Johnson heading out one group in front of them.

Rory McIlroy suffered a poor round on Saturday, recording a five-under 77 as he struggled down the back nine, and he’ll play alongside American Daniel Burger in the hope of getting back into the leading pack.
