Havant last night drew their opening game in the European Club Championship in Terrassa, Spain, when they came back after conceding an early goal to the Russian champions Samara to draw 1-1 in a physical game which Havant dominated for long periods without ever looking dangerous in front of goal. Calum Giles converted the first of their only two penalty corners for the equaliser in the 14th minute, after the Russians had taken the lead in the fifth.
