EALING meet Wimbledon in the women's National League at Barclays Bank Ground, Hangar Lane, tomorrow and with neither club yet clear of relegation problems these old rivals can be expected to provide a few fireworks in a lively London derby, writes Bill Colwill.

Both sides have found goals difficult to come by this season, although Ealing may have moved towards solving their problem with the arrival of New Zealand's Olympic winger, Kate Trolove, who scored four goals against Guildford in the Cup last weekend. Wimbledon, under their coach, Angela Cannell, a former Ealing player, still rely too heavily on Michelle Clark for goals.

Both teams are captained by their goalkeepers. Wimbledon by the former England indoor keeper, Denise Orford, and Ealing by the Scottish international, Sue Lawrie, who said yesterday: 'With the full squad available, we are anticipating a fast, hard game against a well-drilled Wimbledon side.'
