JANE SWINNERTON, the former Great Britain and England striker, spoilt the dreams of outsiders Harrow by scoring nine times as the European Cup-Winners' Cup holders, First Personnel Sutton Coldfield, trounced the Middlesex club 15-0 in the third round of the All England Women's Hockey Association Cup yesterday, writes Bill Colwill.
Only Dulwich, who beat Cambridge City 2-1 with goals from Alison Alcock and Frances Bowen, claimed the scalp of a National League club.
The cup-holders, Hightown, struggled before beating Pressed Steel Fisher from Oxford 2-0 with goals from Nancy Stokes and Ruth Pilkington. There were also comfortable wins for the First Division leaders, Ipswich - 4-0 at Woking Swifts - and the champions, Slough, who overcame Poynton 3-0.
St Albans had few problems overcoming Hounslow, Yvonne Aysford scoring four times in their 5-0 victory.
