Slough, with a convincing 5-1 win against Chelmsford, maintained their top spot in the Premier Division of the Women's National League, writes Brian Tatlock. They lead Ipswich, who yesterday beat First Personnel Sutton Coldfield 3-1, on goal difference. The season's first hat-trick came from Slough's Mandy Nicholls, bringing her tally to six in three games. Karen Brown and Helen Thornally completed Slough's scoring.
