CANNOCK, CANTERBURY and Southgate remain on maximum points at the top of the Premier Division of the National League. At East Grinstead, Southgate's Todd Williams scored with six minutes remaining, Adrian Simons scoring the winner two minutes later. Cannock, with goals from Craig Farnham, Kalbir Takher and Ben Sharpe, accounted for Brooklands 3-1, while Canterbury twice came from behind to beat Old Laughtonians 4-3. Reading beat Teddington 3-1 in a scrappy game, Robert Todd, Scott Ashdown and Mark Pearn scored the goals with Tony Colclough replying for the visitors. Bromley's Gary Kirk was sent off as his side went down 4-1 at Havant, for allegedly hitting an opponent.

In Division One Surbiton and Stourport set the pace with Stourport winning convincingly 6-1 away to Indian Gymkhana with Tom Sherratt scoring three times. Clifton surrendered their 100 per cent record and leadership of the Premier Division of the Women's National League when they lost 1-0 at home to Ipswich. Slough joined Ipswich at the top following a 6-3 win away at Olton with Jane Smith scoring twice.
