Huddersfield have said that they will not select their utility back, Marcus St Hilaire, because he has set his heart on a move to Leeds.

The Oldham forward, Joe Faimalo, has been found not guilty of illegal use of the knees, for which he was sent off on Sunday. His captain, Martin Crompton, sent off for using his forearm in the same match against Sheffield, has been banned for one match, but plans an appeal today.

News Limited have launched their appeal against the ban on Super League in Australia by claiming that the judge in the original case had made "strange and bizarre" rulings. News said that it was still hoping to hold a play-off series against top European clubs in October if their appeal is upheld.
