The trainer James Bethell's appeal against the disqualification of Hunters of Brora in last Saturday's Ladbroke Spring Cup at Newbury was dismissed yesterday. Amtrak Express, forced to miss today's Whitbread Gold Cup at Sandown, has been moved from Nicky Henderson to Jenny Pitman.

Ukraine Venture was introduced at 25-1 for the Oaks after her victory by 10 lengths in yesterday's April Maiden Stakes at Sandown. Romanov is 25-1 for the Derby after winning the Tudor Stakes.
